Merchandise Sales
The Chicago Slaughter is looking for eight friendly, outgoing, sales-oriented individuals to sell Slaughter merchandise during all seven regular season home games. Listed below are some details about volunteering for the Merchandise Sales position.
- Responsible for selling Chicago Slaughter throughout the arena, before, during
and after the game.
- Responsible for keeping track of your inventory. Perform an inventory count
before and after all 2010 home games.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Professional, outgoing, confident, organized, prompt and possess a positive attitude
- Must be comfortable approaching, talking and interacting with people
- Be able to work nights, weekends and all seven regular season home games
- Have the ability to take direction and work as a team
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
This is a volunteer, non-paid position.

Operations / Runner
The Chicago Slaughter are looking for four friendly, outgoing, interactive individuals to assist with game day operations during all seven regular season home games. Listed below are some details about volunteering for the Operations / Runner position.
- Responsible for running errands inside the arena during the game for the
Director of Game Day Operations.
- Responsible for assisting with the pre-game show.
- Responsible for assisting the operations staff with on-field promotions during all
home games.
- Responsible for assisting with the setup for the post-game autograph session.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Professional, outgoing, confident, organized, prompt and possess a positive attitude
- Must be comfortable approaching, talking and interacting with people
- Be able to work nights, weekends and all seven regular season home games
- Have the ability to take direction and work as a team

Fan Relations
The Chicago Slaughter is looking for eight friendly, outgoing individuals to help fans in the concourse area during all seven regular season home games. Listed below are some details about volunteering for the Fan Relations position.
- Responsible for assisting with the concourse setup.
- Responsible for assisting the Director of Ticket Operations at the “Will Call” table
- Responsible for handing out giveaway items at the turnstiles when doors open
to the public.
- Handle other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Professional, outgoing, confident, organized, prompt and possess a positive attitude
- Must be comfortable approaching, talking and interacting with people
- Be able to work nights, weekends and all seven regular season home games
- Have the ability to take direction and work as a team

Internship Job Openings:
The internships are open to qualified applicants currently enrolled in local colleges and Universities. These internship programs are designed to give students the opportunity to develop valuable skills and gain first hand experience in the professional sports industry.
Ticket Sales Internships
Be a part of our Ticket Sales Team for season ticket sales, group sales, fundraisers and other potential sales opportunities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Report directly to the Director of Ticket Sales.
- Assist with e-blasts, phone sales, cold-calls, lead follow-up, and other duties as assigned.
- Retain brand knowledge and communicate team message and ticketing information clearly and intelligently.
- Distribute marketing materials to area businesses, groups and other organizations as needed.
- Must participate in team and community events to help maximize sales opportunities.
- Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Professional, outgoing, confident, organized, prompt and possess a positive attitude.
- Be flexible to work some nights and weekends in atmospheres that may be indoors or outdoors.
- Have the ability to take direction and work as a team.
- Must be comfortable making phone calls, approaching, talking and interacting with people.
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Sales, marketing and/or promotional experience or similar customer service skills preferred, but will train the right candidate.

Public Relations Internship Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in updating scores, stats and press releases, to be posted on the Web site.
- Work with local media to promote and develop interest stories and coordinate interviews.

Marketing/Promotions Internship Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing team appearances.
- Must participate in team and community events to help maximize sales opportunities.
- Build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with sales department, General Manager and Director of Logistics to ensure all game-day functions and events are carried through.
- Establish sell, manage and service corporate advertising accounts.
- Promote and assist in sales of Advertising opportunities.
- Assist other management on various daily tasks, as scheduled.
- Assist in planning and implementing special marketing events and promotions
Administrative Internship Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle various administrative duties including copying, filing, organizing, data entry and mailing.
- Assist Executive/Senior Leadership team when needed
- Various miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Game Day Internship Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Executive/Senior Leadership team on game day, as assigned
- Assist with game day operations. (Field set up, apparel and promotional sales, scheduling)
- Various miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Note - The above four internships are available for 90 day intervals.
