Chicago Slaughter Announce 2010 Season Schedule |
The Chicago Slaughter, of the Indoor Football League (IFL), officially announced their 2010 team schedule, which will be their inaugural season within the IFL. The team will begin their season at home on Saturday, February 27th, at 7:05pm against the Rochester Raiders. The IFL regular season will run for 17 weeks with three or four weeks of playoffs to follow. Each home game this season will be individually themed throughout the 2010 Slaughter season. On Opening Night, the team will commemorate the 2009 undefeated championship team as the team will host Championship Celebration Night on February 27th. Stay tuned to future announcements on further details on Championship Celebration Night as well as the remaining theme nights. "We're excited to join the Indoor Football League and are anxious to start the 2010 season," said Slaughter General Manager Alan Perkins. "We're going to kick things off in style on Opening Night by honoring last's year's championship team and will pack the rest of our schedule with fun themes for everyone to enjoy. It's going to be a great year both on and off the field for our team and our fans." |
