First Round of Auditions for the Chicago Slaughter Dance Team Scheduled for December 5th

Hoffman Estates – The Chicago Slaughter are extending an invitation to women aged 18 and older looking to demonstrate their dance skills and become a member of the 2010 Chicago Slaughter Dance Team. The dance team performs during Chicago Slaughter home games including a special halftime program.  The team also takes an active role in community outreach to encourage health and fitness.  Esteemed dance team director, Wynne Lacey, will be evaluating new talent for the 2010 season. Lacey’s experience includes being the dance director of the Chicago Rush, Chicago Blackhawks Ice Crew, the White Sox Pride Crew and the Chicago Slaughter (2009).  

“The 2009 season saw a changing of the guard in the leadership of the dance team when Wynne Lacey (Wynning Teams LLC) took over as the director”, said Slaughter GM, Alan Perkins. “Wynne's experience and knowledge are second to none in this industry.  The dancers truly like and respect her.”

First round dance auditions will take place at a closed audition from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5th at Cheer Alliance in St. Charles, IL. Additional clinics and cut down periods are scheduled to take place on December 10th and 12th (see schedule below).  The first two rounds of auditions are closed to the public; the third round is open to the public (and media).  All candidates must attend and participate in the December 5th audition.

1st Round: December 5th - 2:00PM - 6:00PM 

2nd Round: December 10th - 7:30PM - 9:30PM 

3rd Round: December 12th - 2:00PM - 6:00PM

COST:
$20 dollars per person (*preregistration is encouraged)
